Born on El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), he is known for the paintings on the Seville’s Church of the «Jesús del Gran Poder«, for several posters for Seville’s festivities (such as Carnival, Feria de Abril or the famous Semana Santa), etc. His influence on 20th century painting is generally acknowledged.
